We are pleased to announce the upcoming International Conference on Inferentialism, scheduled to take place from September 10 to 13, 2025, at the University of Zurich.
The recent publication of “Reasons for Logic, Logic for Reasons” (Brandom/Hlobil, 2024) marks a significant milestone in both the technical and philosophical development of inferentialist logic. This conference offers the first assessment of the book’s reception and examines its potential operationalisation across various disciplines, including Epistemology, Philosophy of Language, Legal Studies, and Natural Language Processing.
Over four days, the event will feature keynote lectures and contributions from leading scholars, as well as selected presentations from emerging young researchers.
