AI-Competence for Legal Professionals

AI Competence for Legal Professionals: Two Days That Make the Difference!

On 11 and 12 June 2026, the two-day course “AI Competence for Legal Professionals” will take place at the FFHS Gleisarena in Zurich. The course equips legal professionals to use AI tools in a targeted and reflective manner, confidently navigate the legal framework, and develop AI strategy and governance for their own organisations. The programme is consistently practice-oriented. At its core are structured working sessions in which participants develop practice-relevant outputs that can be transferred directly to their professional activities.

On the first day, participants develop an in-depth understanding of how AI works, including its possibilities, limitations, and typical sources of error such as hallucinations and biases. They learn to critically assess AI tools and apply these skills hands-on in a tool carousel featuring practical legal use cases.

The second day focuses on the legal framework, including data protection, professional and official secrecy obligations, copyright, and liability issues. Building on this foundation, participants develop the fundamentals of AI strategy and governance and translate the results into directly usable documents.
