Dr. Alexander Schuchter's research builds on a rare source: more than 100 personal interviews with convicted white-collar offenders, conducted over fifteen years. These conversations give him a deep understanding of how such breaches actually unfold. He is the founder of Schuchter Management GmbH, an HSG spin-off for forensic investigations, governance advisory, and executive education. In Switzerland's regulated banking sector, he leads audit engagements. At the University of St. Gallen (HSG), he has held a lectureship since 2010, connecting his research with the governance questions boards and control functions face.
